A White Bakkie Reg No. ZFY 767 GP is cruising around Jukskei Park taking photographs of houses in the area. Seen in Juweel & Robyn Streets.

Please contact SAPS 10111 and or your security company if you see this vehicle.

Digest Extract: Hi Mike, The reaction did stop these guys at Sandhurst str. They searched the vehicle but then received a panic phone in, they unfortunately did not get info on the camera issue...

Apologies that I didn't give you feedback yesterday,

The reaction did stop these guys at Sandhurst str. They searched the vehicle but then received a panic phone in, They unfortunately did not get info on the camera issue.

They did inform me that the guys had their Telkom ID cards with them. I did instruct them to be on the look out for these guys or slow moving vehicles.

Will keep you posted if I get more info.

Telkom then instructed these guys to take pictures of these deliveries to proof that the books were delivered.

Unfortunately I have misplaced my log on details for the RAC website. I noticed the warning below on your e-mail. I was nearly involved in a high-jacking last Friday afternoon at about 1pm.

The incident occurred in Petervale when I visited a colleague at his home. As I left my colleagues premises a saw a black male walking in front of a white bakkie. I felt very uncomfortable since the chap looked like he was heading straight toward my car with a purpose.

As I climbed into my car the high-jacking turned and entered my colleague’s property. I was initially blocked off by the bakkie who was driving in the right lane. As the bakkie passed, I reversed and waited ahead of the bakkie in the left lane to ask my colleague if all was OK.

It appeared that they were asking for directions and I drove off. A few minutes later my colleague phoned to tell me that the high-jacker had pulled a gun on him and told him to lie on the ground as the bakkie was backing up into the drive.

The high-jacker asked for the house keys. Fortunately the high-jackers where disturbed by a neighbour (opposite side to his gate) and they drove off. The only details of the number plate the witnesses got was “ZGS” but it could well have been ZFY!

I trust these thugs get caught soon. They only took the house keys and it was a shock for all. The armed security service and police did respond. Compliments to the police who sent two vehicles to the scene and for the good service.

Hi all,

Can someone please give details of this white bakkie seen in Petervale. New Toyota Hilux shape I assume given the registration number? Does it have a canopy, how many occupants etc.

2 were in dark blue overalls, and two were wearing reflective vests. Bakkie had ladders and reflective cones on the back.

Would like to know if it is the same guys?
