At approx 10.45pm, 24/7/2010 my daughter walked into the room where the father of the household had told her to leave her handbag (she had put it in the back of a glass door fridge which was turned off) to find a young man approx 20 years old digging through the contents of her handbag which he ha! d emptied out. He pushed past her , ran away and apparently drove off with 2 other youngsters.( This cannot be confirmed but another youngster thought he saw someone jump in a car and drive away hastily) He was a young white male, tall, brown hair and was wearing a black Adidas top and jeans. He luckily only got away with her purse and ID document.
PLEASE WARN PEOPLE - THIS HAPPENS ON A REGULAR BASIS BUT NO ONE EVER REPORTS IT. THESE YOUNGSTERS, SOMETIMES EVEN UNINVITED, GO TO TEENS PARTIES AND THEN GO THROUGH THE GIRLS HANDBAGS STEALING MONEY AND PHONES. AFTER SPEAKING TO A FEW TEENS THIS HAPPENS "ALL THE TIME" IT SEEMS THESE BUMS ARE TO LAZY TO WORK BUT RATHER STEAL FROM HOMES. WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE. PLEASE BE AWARE!
